When do you use a covering or speculative
letter? |
<<Back |
| |
|
 |
Use a covering letter
when you’ve been asked to send your CV or
you are sending a completed application form for
a job that has been advertised. |
 |
Use a speculative letter when
you want to contact a company that hasn’t
advertised any vacancies. You may like to do this
if there is a company you’d really like
to work for. You can send your CV with it. |
 |
Use a letter of application
when you've been asked for one. This is often
a longer letter that includes important information
normally listed in a CV. |
