At Calderdale & Kirklees Careers we have a range
of in-house Quality Procedures and a Statement of Service
to ensure that all our customers receive consistent
standards of service at all times.
In recognition of our customer-focused services and
quality standards we have a number of accreditations
including Charter Mark and Investor In People. We recently
retained our Charter Mark accredited status; the following
is an extract from the Charter Mark assessor's report:
'This is an organisation
that has been a Charter Mark holder since 1997 and
it excels in its ability to meet the needs of its
users. Undoubtedly its real strength lies with its
staff. They are well led. They are professional, well
trained, motivated and committed to customer service.
They are alert and responsive to the needs and sensitivities,
particularly, of the young people whom they serve.
The organisation would not be able to provide the
high level of service that it does if it had not developed
extensive, close working arrangements with other providers.
It continues to find and respond to initiatives that
widen the scope of their involvement with their users.
They view the customers holistically as people with
problems and issues to resolve and deal with these
in order to better deliver their core business'.
We also subscribe to the Guidance Council code of practice
National
IAG Board Principles of Coherent IAG Service Delivery

to ensure we are meeting national standards.
