...Shabana completed the LDSS (Learning, Development and Support Services) for PAs working with young people in 12 months – most students take 18 months to complete this qualification. Shabana was employed by KAWACC (Keighley Association Women and Children’s Centre).

During the course Shabana learnt about child protection, something she had little knowledge of before the course began. Shabana used what she had learnt to develop a child protection policy for KAWACC. She also gained the confidence to network and promote KAWACC’s services.

Since completing the LDSS, Shabana has gone on to work for aspire-i in Bradford.
