Dave coordinates the local Quality Standards in CEIAG (Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance) scheme for Calderdale and Kirklees as well as delivering a range of internal and external training in guidance skills for C&K Training. 

Prior to his role with the C&K Training team, Dave joined Calderdale Careers Service in 1987 as an unemployment specialist and school-based careers adviser; later becoming an adult guidance consultant and redundancy counsellor, parents project coordinator and CEG Inset coordinator for Calderdale & Kirklees Careers. Dave has also worked at the University of Huddersfield as a lecturer on the Qualification in Career Guidance course.
