Employers need to attract people with the right skills for the job and today most jobs require a higher level of skills than in the past.

Some sectors are growing and creating new jobs, some are expanding but need fewer people to do the work, while other sectors are getting smaller and have fewer opportunities.

All sectors will have vacancies to fill as they need to replace people leaving and the growing number of people who are retiring.
